How to do AF Microadjustment on Canon 7D
The Canon 7D camera automatically recognizes most Canon lenses to be mounted on the camera so the AF accuracy is usually adequate. However you may be cases in which, after taking a picture, you notice that the focus point AF seems more behind or below the point that you had chosen to take the shot.
Do not worry, the new DSLR cameras usually allow micro adjustments for the AF and also in cameras like the Canon EOS 7D this micro adjustment can be made for each individual target.
How? Easy just enter the camera menu -> Advanced -> C.Fn III -> AF Micro Adjustment
When measuring how good / bad is the AF of your camera you have several methods at your disposal, all very simple. Here I leave a couple of links to these calibration methods AF.
