Dropbox announces Virtual Photo Album and Document Preview
January 30th, 2013. Dropbox announced that it is rolling out a new preview feature, called Dropbox Documents Preview, that will help users scan files quickly, and select the one that they need. Now you can look inside many popular Office file types including .doc, .docx, PDFs andPowerPoint files, (Dropbox is still working on support for Excel).
Also, Dropbox’s Virtual Photo Album is designed to make photo viewing simpler. ItVirtual Photo Album organizes the photos into time blocks such as days or months. Before, you could only share photos one at a time, or compile them into a new folder and share them. Now you can select several photos to turn them into a virtual album, and then share them to Facebook, Twitter or email. So there’s an easier way to share your photos.
